JOURNEY OF HOPE BENEFIT EVENT FOR ONTLAMETSE PHALATSE

The City of Tshwane’s Health and Social Development Department has joined hands with three other stakeholders to host a benefit fundraising event for little Ontlametse Phalatse from Hebron, north-west of the city.

Ontlametse is a 13 year old girl with a rare aging disease called Progeria. She is the only living black child with Progeria, a rare and fatal genetic condition that accelerates the ageing process.

The City has partnered with the Greater Tshwane Regional Taxi Council, Soshanguve Pick `N Pay and the Tshwane Gospel Choir to raise funds for Ontlametse to help her realise her wish of owning a home for her, her mother and brother, as well as to meet the Executive Mayor of Tshwane, Cllr Kgosientso Ramokgopa.
