RUN/WALK AGAINST CHILD ABUSE The Run Against Child Abuse will be called the “RACA” race. On 1 September 2012 Community members from the Daspoort area (and other nearby areas) will have the opportunity to run/walk a 5km/10km race to raise funds for the CSC Daspoort to help provide services to children who have been victims of emotional, physical or sexual abuse. All the funds will help the social workers from CSC Daspoort to provide the abused children with the support, protection and therapy they need after they have been abused. It will also fund projects to prevent children from being abused by their parents or family members and empower the community member’s to stand for the protection of children in their community. Surrounding Schools in the area will also have an opportunity to voice their opinion about this cause. The CSC will put together a CHILD ABUSE campaign at each school in the area where the social workers will educate the children on child abuse and the effects of abuse on children as well as the resources they can use if they are victims of abuse. Each school who wants to take part in this event will need to make their own banner stating that they are against this cause. For example: “ SUIDERBERG HIGH SCHOOL....Against child abuse” Each of the role players in the community will need to wear a T-Shirt stating who they work for, with their contact details at the back of the T-Shirt. For example: POLICE--- 1011 to make the community members aware of all the role players in the community and the part that they play in protecting the children.

Afriforum Jeug : Jeugdag

AfriForum Jeug

15 Junie 2012

Jakaranda and Louis Botha Childrens Home

Help us -Little Angels Paradise

At Little Angels Paradise our vision is to have as many children as possible and take care of them for life as our own kids and as well as open doors for adoption. It came to be after two black women realised that the number of baby dumping was in increasing in Tembisa, Norkem Park and East Rand though the newspapers Kempton Express. It touched their hearts and come together to discuss about it and thought of doing a good thing to those babies dumped and others out their without parents.
We wish to provide:
 • Child caring – from as little as one day old up to 21 years or up to any age they are independent enough to live on their own.
• The kids with food, clothes, education, and shelter.
• To offer pre-school facilities at our home to encouraged our children to meet children from other walks of life.
• By God’s grace built a school that will allow them to go to school for free with the help of those paying school fees.
• If Government favours us we would like land to grow vegetables, have rooms where they will be able to study how cook at young age, woodwork and how to do sewing.

You can help us now by providing blankets, food ,clothes and all babies needs for 10 children
